When the valve feeds water from the inlet end, the water flows through the needle valve into the main valve control chamber. When the electromagnetic pilot valve is opened, the water in the control chamber flows out through the electromagnetic pilot valve and the ball valve. The opening of the ball valve is greater than the opening degree of the needle valve, the pressure in the main valve control chamber is very low, and the main valve is in the fully open state.
When the solenoid valve is closed, the water in the main valve control chamber cannot flow out, the control chamber is boosted, and the diaphragm is pushed to close the main valve.
